Organizational Strategies for Uncertain Times
Developing an organizational strategy always involves making difficult choices. But in these uncertain times, the choices may become more challenging, complex and uncertain — for non-profits, businesses, government and academia. Although it’s too early to know exactly how 2017 will change these environments, this much is undoubtedly true: Every organization needs to be agile and resilient in anticipating and responding to these changing social, economic and political forces.
This Kennedy School presentation will address governance and leadership requirements, as well as key approaches in “diagnosing” organizational issues that are obstacles to sustainability. Topics will include: Setting priorities; securing sources of funding/revenue; identifying key stakeholder groups; developing a holistic organizational plan; and executing on that plan with relentless focus to achieve success.
